Calling all planners, account directors and managers - the 2008 ADFX Awards will soon be opening for business. This is the eighth staging of the IAPI Advertising Effectiveness Awards (ADFX), which are held every two years. The Award Show will be held on October 9th.

| HOW IT WORKS |
The ADFX Awards honour the most effective advertising campaigns that appeared in both the Irish and International markets between June 30th 2004 and July 31st 2006. Entries may be submitted from IAPI member agencies or advertisers whose campaigns were produced by an IAPI member agency.
There are four separate categories for entry. For full details on each category click here. There are two new Jury prizes which have been added this year - Best Integrated Campaign and Best Strategic Planning, the latter to be awarded to the lead Account Planner on the campaign

| THE CONCEPT |
Unlike creative awards, ADFX is a celebration of advertising that has particularly enhanced the value of the brand it promoted. Entrants have to provide substantive data to accompany their entries that are judged on success factors such as return on investment, sales and increased awareness - not just aesthetic values. As such an ADFX Award is highly valued by agencies and clients alike, as it is a true measure of the value of advertising as a marketing tool.

| WRITERS MENTORING PROGRAMME |
To further facilitat entrants, ADFX will offer a mentor programme to all agencies submitting entries. The Mentors will offer guidance and advise on how to best relate your campaign case history and maximise the lessons of the writing workshop. Registration is strongly advise.
